While yesterday was a big one for our region regarding fracking, I was pleased to catch up with the Radiotherapy Working Group and Health Minister Blair Boyer to discuss our ongoing campaign to see radiation treatment facilities here in the Limestone Coast.

Of all the meetings I’ve had with the government, this was certainly the most positive and I look forward to catching up with the Minister in parliament next week to continue to push for this vital service for our community.

Thanks to our brilliant working group for not stepping back from this fight and also to Minister Boyer for his genuine engagement with us.

Make your voice heard.

If Labor believes this stacks up, then it should front the community first, not announce legislation and consult later.
