Today, the State Budget was handed down, and Laborβs debt addiction continues.
State debt is now projected to hit $53.7 billion by 2030, with taxpayers footing an interest bill of $9.6 million every single day.
At the same time, government departments have racked up $6 billion in budget blowouts since Labor took office in 2022, including $1.289 billion this year alone. 27 out of 28 agencies overspent their budgets.

π¨ South Australiaβs debt is heading toward $50 billion by 2029 and Labor has no plan to repay it.
The interest bill alone is climbing toward $3 billion a year. Right now, thatβs $5 million every single day β money that doesnβt fund a single nurse, teacher, or metre of road.
And these arenβt our numbers. Theyβre Laborβs.
